TAFE Queensland Gold Coast students studying Screen and Media, Technical Production and Beauty are getting their first real world experience as they take part in the filming and production of Humaneity TV.
Humaneity is a Gold Coast not for profit organisation bringing together students, teachers, parents, businesses, community groups and individuals to work collaboratively on designing and implementing innovative and sustainable living.
On Wednesday 19 April, TAFE Queensland Gold Coast will host a LIVE TV Show at their Coomera campus at 6.30pm called Sustainable Living and Tiny Houses.
This Q&A style show will feature an expert Panel who will field audience questions on Sustainable Living and Tiny Houses.
TAFE Queensland Gold Coast students with high school students, will work to film, edit and produce the program. Beauty students will also have the opportunity to experience makeup application for TV.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Humaneity, Mark Philpott, said he is very excited to have the students on board and he believes that exposing them to this project will give them inspiration and motivation as they move forward with their careers.
"TAFE Queensland Gold Coast students will gain hands on experience in a real world environment. They also have an opportunity to mentor high school students and connect with businesses for employment pathways," said Philpott.
