Gain trade qualifications in electrical fitting
To study for this Certificate III you will need to be an existing contracted apprentice in the field of electrical fitting. This course will qualify you to manufacture, fit, assemble, erect, operate, test, alter, repair and find fault in electrical equipment found on plant or machinery. You will also be taught the mathematical and scientific principles that form the foundation of the electrical trade.
An electrical fitter is not authorised to install any electrical wiring systems within an electrical installation as prescribed by definitions contained in AS/NZS 3000.
A significant amount of teaching time will be spent ensuring that you understand these concepts in depth, due to the high danger in practising in this industry, before the underlying theory is fully understood and respected. Course details
