Have a website and social media but not getting the traction you expect?

Just being online or having a business Facebook page doesn’t mean automatic success. You might be aware of how online promotion or social media works, but is it really working for you? As a standalone course or extension to our Getting Your Business Online - an Introduction program, this course looks at online promotion and social media in more detail.

Have you heard of the following; SEO, PPC, SEM, Blogging, Keyword, Metatag, Backlink, RSS or EDM? Do you know what they mean? More importantly would you like to learn how these can build a better online presence for your business? The first session of this program aims to demystify and provide practical experience with the complex world of online marketing and promotion.

For businesses, social media - when used correctly, can help build your brand and assist you in developing a loyal client or customer base. Using social media for business is different to using it personally, and this program is a hands-on practical course dedicated to teaching those in attendance some of the strategies used by marketers engaging in social media marketing. It is not just for big business, of the three million plus business pages on Facebook, more than 50 percent of them are owned by small businesses.
