Trade Skills Assessment and Gap Training (TSAGT) provides eligible Queenslanders with industry experience with the opportunity to complete a priority trade qualification.
This is a Queensland Government initiative that will offset the cost of a certificate IV or higher course so that Queenslanders can gain advanced skills to secure employment or further their careers. You can receive a subsidy towards one Certificate III qualification from a list of subsidised courses. An initiative of the Queensland Government, the amount provided depends on the demand for skilled workers in each industry, and your eligibility.
If you are currently working in the Queensland building and construction industry you may be eligible for CSQ funded training to advance or expand your skills under one of the CSQ programs.
Fee Free training is available for Queensland Year 12 graduates in Government priority qualifications if they start training with a pre-qualified preferred training provider within a year of leaving school.
The Back to Work Program is a Certificate 3 Guarantee Boost which provides eligible jobseekers with funding for training to help secure local jobs. Training may include "second chance" training for jobseekers or workers who already have a Certificate 3 (or higher) level qualification but need new or updated skills to gain, change or retain employment.
